Meet Your Doula

My journey to becoming a doula began 17 years ago after my oldest son's birth. That experience left me confused, heartbroken, and a little mad. I knew there had to be a better way.

Over the years that followed, I did my own healing, deepened my understanding of physiological birth, and birthed two more children — both VBACs at home. I sat at the feet of elder midwives. I completed a two-year, 600+ hour academic intensive and apprenticeship with an elder birth keeper through The Matrona.

I've supported families at home, in the hospital, and virtually. What I've learned is that birth is wild and unpredictable, exciting and scary all at once. And what I want to do is educate you, support you, and most importantly bear witness to you doing what you already know you can do.

I believe physiology rules the birth space. I believe women hold an innate wisdom about birth that our modern world has disconnected us from. I believe every woman deserves to feel heard, honored, and empowered throughout her journey to motherhood.

My approach is rooted in evidence-based education and grounded in respect for your body's capabilities. I support women birthing in hospitals, birth centers, and at home. I work alongside your medical team, not in place of it. Your birth, your choices, your power.

Living in a small town, I saw firsthand how limited the options were for women seeking quality doula support. But the need isn't just local — women everywhere are looking for knowledgeable, trustworthy guidance through their birth journey.

Virtual support lets me bring everything I've learned over the past decade to families anywhere. The education, the preparation, the ongoing relationship — it all translates beautifully to virtual. And the women I've supported virtually consistently report feeling more confident and prepared than they ever expected.
